Dr. Santanu Mukherjee is an Advocate and accredited commercial mediator at the Supreme Court of India. In legal practice over 25 years, he specialises in IPRs, International Trade and Technology laws and practices transactional law, conflict resolution and policy advisory. Founder and Head of Ex Lege Chambers in India, he has shouldered different roles in India and abroad, including actively engaging in different multilateral negotiations related to WTO, WIPO and UNFCCC.

He holds a LL.B. from Calcutta University, India; Master of International Law and Economics (M.I.L.E.) & Ph.D. from the World Trade Institute, Bern University, Switzerland. Read Corporate & Commercial laws as a Chevening Scholar at the University of Law, York, U.K. and had been a Visiting Scholar at the Max Planck Institute for IPR and Competition Law, Munich, Germany. Twice he had been Fellow of the Global Salzburg Seminar, Austria.
