I can’t help but marvel at what a wise decision it was to choose MEIG

As I reflect on my encounter with the MEIG Programme, it feels like a destined rendezvous. From initially applying with little hope to being unexpectedly chosen, and now feeling grounded and secure, I can’t help but marvel at what a wise decision it was to choose MEIG.

From a rational standpoint, MEIG has opened up a broader vista for me to comprehend global governance. While I studied « International Organizations » during my undergraduate years, it remained a theoretical pursuit confined to textbooks. However, in the MEIG Programme, situated in the heart of international organizations in Geneva, I’ve had the privilege to witness firsthand how these entities function. The fusion of theory and practice has animated the knowledge in my mind.

Emotionally, the professors and participants in the MEIG Programme hail from diverse corners of the world, with different skin tones and cultures. Yet, each one is equally endearing and amiable. We all share a common thirst for knowledge, with a sparkle in our eyes and love in our hearts. Hence, even in a foreign land far from home, I’ve never felt alone, for I deeply understand that I am not solitary; I have them walking beside me.

Given another chance, I would still embrace MEIG without hesitation. Here, I’ve not only acquired comprehensive and cutting-edge governance-related knowledge but also been inspired by the radiant virtues of everyone around me.
