opening doors to opportunities that transcend geographical boundaries
Ms. Tamari Tabatadze, MEIG Graduate 2023-2024, Georgia
The MEIG Programme served as a gateway to developing a strong professional network and opening doors to opportunities that transcend geographical boundaries.
One of the most enriching aspects of the MEIG Programme was the opportunity to engage with a wide range of experts and field leaders across various sectors of governance during my time in Geneva. This invaluable experience not only broadened my understanding of European and international governance but also provided firsthand insights into the complex dynamics of governance at different levels. Through a comprehensive curriculum, the programme offered a unique opportunity to interface with various UN agencies, EU institutions, and the NATO office in Brussels.
The programme has indeed significantly altered my professional trajectory on an international scale. With three years of experience in the public sector in Georgia, I embarked on the programme seeking further career advancement. This endeavor provided me with a transformative experience and, notably, facilitated an internship opportunity at DCAF within the Eastern Europe, South Caucasus, and Central Asia Division. This internship not only aligns with my regional expertise but also signifies a tangible step towards further growth and success on the international stage.
