Mr. Daniel Daran Crentsil, MEIG Graduate 2023-2024, Ghana

The MEIG Programme has been instrumental in honing my proficiency in negotiation and leadership. It has also provided me with indispensable skills necessary for navigating the intricate areas of international governance. Through meticulously curated modules, it provided a profound exploration into the frameworks of the UN and the EU system, thereby equipping me with a nuanced understanding essential for effective engagement within global affairs.

Partaking in a study visit to Brussels, where I had the privilege of immersing myself in the dynamics of the EU system, proved to be a transformative experience. Through this visit, I gained first-hand insights that improved my understanding of the EU governance system. Furthermore, the programme’s diverse curriculum afforded me the opportunity to delve into multifaceted topics such as Trade, Peace and Security, Digital Governance, Human Rights, and Migration, fostering a holistic perspective on contemporary global challenges. Moreover, engaging with colleagues from diverse backgrounds enriched my learning process, as I gained unique perspectives.

Throughout the programme, I had the chance to visit the various International Organisations situated in #Geneva, and engage with experts on their operational procedures. Furthermore, frequent roundtable discussions served as platforms for the exchange of ideas, fostering intellectual discourse.

The MEIG Programme has been crucial in enhancing my understanding of international governance, instilling within me a profound appreciation for the complexities inherent in global affairs. I wholeheartedly encourage aspiring professionals to seize the opportunity to enroll in this transformative programme, as it serves as a springboard for career advancement and intellectual enrichment.
